What we collect

We collect very little. When you open a page, our hosting setup records technical details that every web server records: your IP address, the time of the request, the page you asked for, your browser type and the page that sent you here. We keep these server logs to keep the site running and to spot abuse.

If you write to us with a correction or a question, we keep your message and the address you used so that we can answer. We do not ask readers to register, so there are no passwords, no profiles and no payment details on this site.

Analytics and cookies

We use basic traffic statistics to see which review sections people read and where they leave. These tools may set small cookies or read a device identifier. They tell us that a page was visited, not who visited it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The pages will still load and read normally. If you turn on a do-not-track signal, we treat it as a request to skip optional analytics where our tools allow that.

Links to casino operators

Many buttons on this site lead to the operator we are reviewing. Once you click through, you leave our site and the operator's own privacy policy applies to everything you type there, including your email, date of birth, phone number and payment details.

We never see what you enter on an operator's registration form. Read the operator's policy before you sign up, in the same way you would read it before using any other service.

How long we keep data

Server logs are kept for a short rolling period and then deleted. Analytics figures are kept in aggregate form. Emails from readers are kept for as long as it takes to deal with the matter and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you follow up.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact route we publish for this site and tell us which message or visit you mean, so we can find it. We answer within a reasonable time and we will tell you if a law requires us to keep something.

Age limit

Casino content is meant for adults only. This site is for readers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and if we learn that we have done so, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, for instance by adding a new analytics tool, we update this page and change the date at the top of the site where it applies. Using the site after an update means you accept the new wording.
